Cancellation Policy
A deposit is required to hold a reservation. A “Value Certificate” for a portion of the deposit is available if cancellation is received a minimum of two weeks before arrival date AND the vacancy is filled. A “Value Certificate”, should there be one, will be made (whenever possible) within the week following the date of the cancelled reservation. *Last minute cancellations or reservation changes: Guests who make last minute cancellations or reservation changes will be responsible for and must still pay the whole original reservation rate. A “Value Certificate” to be used another time will be made only if the room (the guest vacated) can be rented at the last minute. A “Value Certificate” is a certificate valued for portion of the Deposit or Full Reservation Rate which can be used before the date of expiry by that guest only (it is not transferable). The value of the Certificate may be put towards accommodation only.*

Two and a half hours north of Toronto in the Haliburton Highland's Cottage Country you will find the Sunny Rock Bed and Breakfast, a Finnish Heritage Log building with an incredible social history and situated on a waterfall at the end on a country road. There is both lake and river access for your boating and swimming adventures. • The Walter Windsong Riverview Suite, a 600 sq. ft. room with an incredible view of the Drag River, ensuite bathroom with bathtub, walkout balcony, queen bed, fireplace with a comfy sitting area and TV/VCR available upon request.

• The Moorehaven Treetop Suite, a 600 sq. ft. room with windows on all four sides, ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi and separate shower, king or two twin beds, fireplace with a comfy sitting area and TV/VCR available upon request.

• The Pine Studio, a 1000 sq. ft. room with an incredible view of the falls and river, ensuite bathroom with shower, huge walkout balcony, queen bed, wood granite fireplace with a comfy living room sitting area, satellite TV, stereo and player piano.

• The two Riverside Rooms, each a 200 sq. ft. room with an incredible sound of the falls, double bed, shared/private bathroom and TV/VCR available upon request.  The perfect room for the active cost conscious folks.

From Minden village turn off Highway 35 on the South Lake Road. Drive 7.5 km to a stop sign. Turn left on County Road#1 (Gelert Road) for 30 seconds; turn left again on the Scott's Dam Road. We are 1 km along Scott's Dam Road sitting very near the Dam.

From Haliburton Village take County Road#1 (Gelert Road), 12 minutes. Pass the Ingoldoby Road, over the Drag River Bridge and turn right on the Scott's Dam Road. Sunny Rock is 1 km along the Scott's Dam Road sitting near the Dam.
