Wingle Inn is a century home on a hill nestled in the beautiful Madawaska Valley. Built in 1863, this farmhouse was painted by A. J. Casson (one of Canada's Group of Seven). The view in every direction is breathtaking and the serenity is palpable. We also serve evening meals featuring fine Italian cuisine. Four-course gourmet dinners are priced from $20-$60 (Under new management).
Wingle Inn is where a rustic setting and fine dining mingle creating a wonderful place to get away from the stresses of modern-day living. We are located close to the Madawaska River where there are classes in canoeing or kayaking. Come to experience the spectacular fall colours. Also in the area are Algonquin Park, fishing, canoeing, beaches, hiking, white water rafting, skiing (downhill/cross-country), snowshoeing and birdwatching. There are pets in our home and we ask that guests inquire about bringing their children and/or pets. Please, No Smoking.
