Our guests have always referred to Sunny Rock as "much more than a B&B". We have in eleven years created the ultimate relaxing country environment. It is the 7,000 square foot country log home you can only dream of owning. Make a reservation for two nights and mention that you found us on the FOBBA website and we will prepare for you "a house dinner" on us (offer available from January to May 1st).
Two and a half hours north of Toronto in the Haliburton Highland's Cottage Country you will find the Sunny Rock Bed and Breakfast, a 7000 sq. ft. Finnish Heritage Log building with an incredible social history and situated on a waterfall at the end on a country road. There is both lake and river access for boating and swimming. Animals and birds at play on and around the river delight our guests during their incredible three-course breakfast. Steam shower or tub and Jacuzzi in house.
Activities include swimming, canoeing, fishing, hiking, cycling, cross country skiing, golfing, whitewater canoeing and kayaking and the Haliburton School of the Arts, all within 15 minutes of our front door. The Moorehaven Treetop Suite, a 600 sq. ft. room with windows on all four sides, ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi and separate shower, king or two twin beds, fireplace with a comfy sitting area and TV/VCR available upon request.
The Pine Studio, a 1000 sq. ft. room with an incredible view of the falls and river, ensuite bathroom with shower, walkout balcony, double bed, fireplace with a comfy sitting area, satellite TV, stereo and player piano. Ask about our Deluxe Package.
The two Riverside Rooms, each is a 200 sq. ft. room with an incredible view of a falls and river, double bed, shared/private bathroom and TV/VCR available upon request.

Bed & Breakfast DirectionsFrom Minden village turn off Highway 35 on the South Lake Road. Drive 7.5 km to a stop sign. Turn left on County Road#1 (Gelert Road) for 30 seconds; turn left again on the Scott's Dam Road. We are 1 km along Scott's Dam Road sitting very near the Dam.
From Haliburton Village take County Road#1 (Gelert Road), 12 minutes. Pass the Ingoldoby Road, over the Drag River Bridge and turn right on the Scott's Dam Road. Sunny Rock is 1 km along the Scott's Dam Road sitting near the Dam.
