Welcome to Newboro House! We promise that our luxurious beds and decadent breakfasts will form a large part of your Rideau Lakes "Experience to Remember."
We are conveniently situated in the village of Newboro on the historic Rideau Canal, just steps away from the Stagecoach Restaurant and the renowned Kilborn's on the Rideau. Ten minutes away by car, the village of Westport offers more dining possibilities, plus an array of antique and art shops and other services.
Rideau Lakes and the adjacent townships boast what is possibly the greatest concentration of heritage attractions in Ontario. Make us your base for visits to the larger centres of Perth, Brockville, and Kingston, all within a 30- to 50-minute drive. Or enjoy unparalleled outdoor recreation--winter or summer--on the Rideau Canal system, the Rideau Trail, numerous local lakes, at least half a dozen provincial parks and conservation areas, and a variety of golf courses. Maps and tourist brochures are available to all guests, and we'll gladly pack you a brown-bag lunch for your day excursions for a small extra cost.
Return from a day of exploring to relax in the living room with its library and satellite television hook-up. Soak in the old-fashioned claw-foot tub, and then tumble into your premium Kingsdown pillow-top bed (topped with super-soft 100% cotton sheets). In the morning, awake to a full breakfast featuring seasonal fruit, homemade granola with yoghurt, freshly baked breads or muffins, and exquisitely cooked main-course dishes such as quinoa-and-potato patties with baked eggs, or a house quiche.
Discounts are available for stays of five nights or more.
Please note that smoking and guest pets are not permitted in the house or on the grounds. To protect guests with allergies, our two resident Burmese cats, Cass and Andi, are not allowed to venture into guest areas.

Bed & Breakfast DirectionsWe are located just off Highway 15, between Kingston and Smiths Falls. At the junction of Highway 15 and County Road 42 (Crosby), follow the signs for Newboro. Look for our B&B sign on the right, about 5 km from the junction.
