Inukshuk Manor Bed and Breakfast has a unique stackwood exterior and is situated on 96 acres of forest with marked trails for walking and snowshoeing. The word Inukshuk means "Looks like a man when viewed from a distance." The Inuit used the Inukshuk to herd caribou, and to guide people when travelling on the land. The symbol of the Inukshuk was chosen for our bed & breakfast to represent a guide to the northern hospitality offered to you during your stay.
Our home has two guest bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, a guest living room, and a screened porch leading to an outside deck. Enjoy a full breakfast, highlighting our maple syrup which is made on the premises.
Inukshuk Manor Bed and Breakfast is located 25 km from Haliburton Village with 5 minute access to three lakes, two are connected by a beach with parking. The Bear Lake mineral collecting site is just 4 kilometres away and there are bike trails to Tory Hill and Wilberforce. Visit the website for Wilberforce "The Geocaching Capital of Canada" at http://geocachingcapital.com
