The Homestead Bed and Breakfast is a new house built in the style of an old fashioned farm house. There is a large gallery (porch) wrapping around two sides of the house. The rooms are new and clean. The floors upstairs are made of natural pine boards, just like a farmhouse of days past. Downstairs the floors are hardwood, making a nice setting for the antique dining room furniture. There is a common bathroom upstairs with a shower and bathtub.
Easily make day trips to Toronto, Niagara or the markets and Oktoberfest in Kitchner and St. Jacobs. If you just want to relax and not travel too far, the lakefront with shops, restaurants and a boardwalk is just down the road. Bronte Creek Provincial Park is just next door if walking and nature is your pleasure. The park also has a farm and petting zoo for the children. If golf is your passion, there are four courses within minutes by car, including the well known Glen Abbey golf course. There are no pets in our smoke free home and we ask that guests inquire about bringing their children and/or pets.
