We are a traditional B&B emphasizing charm, comfort and conviviality. Century House was built in 1885 and shows that legacy in the original wainscoting in the dining room, thick hardwood floors, and sloping ceilings on the second floor. In keeping with its character, Century House is liberally sprinkled with antiques and original artwork. There are three charming , well appointed guest rooms which share 2 baths. They are tastefully decorated and have back- friendly, firm beds and fine quality linens. Each is protected by "guard bears".
Century House Bed and Breakfast is an air conditioned, smoke free Victorian farmhouse near the waterfall in downtown Bracebridge. We serve a creative and generous breakfast, with many house specialties. Blueberry corn waffles with local maple syrup are a favorite with many guests. Sandy's baking and preserves compliment every meal. Century House is close to shopping, beaches and many craft studios and galleries. Enjoy summer theatre, fall colours and studio tours, and winter cross-country skiing. We ask that guests inquire about bringing children. Please, No Smoking and No Guest Pets.
