Bed & Breakfast Description

Molly and Leslie Soltay (and Ragout the mutt) invite you to the BRASSCRANES Bed and Breakfast on the shores of Lake Simcoe in the City of Orillia. Stay in a unique house, surrounded by our extensive collection of artifacts, antiques, and other treasures from our travels around the world.

Enjoy the peaceful and environmentally friendly atmosphere in a waterfront park setting with a private swimming pool, relax in the shade of the huge willows, feed the ducks and the occasional swan that swims by. If you are up early enough, you may catch a glimpse of the shy blue heron.

You may take the canoe to the nearby wild reeds and water lilies area and try your luck at fishing or just drift exploring all the nooks and crannies along the wild undeveloped shore.

In the winter, walk, snowshoe, ski, or skate on the frozen lake or go ice fishing. Browse through our fine collection of books and try the Sauna.
