This large four bedroom home is located on a well maintained one acre property on the St.Lawrence River, one km. west of Prescott. We purchased this home with the idea of a Bed & Breakfast in mind and after several years of renovating and upgrading we opened for our first season in 2004. The complimentary comments from our guests have led us to believe that we have made the right decision.
Your hosts are ready to welcome you in english or french to this beautiful area of eastern Ontario. We are 15 minutes from the world famous 1000 Islands boat cruises of the St.Lawrence River. This river is renouned for its many ship wrecks so it is a popular diving destination. In fact, one of the wrecks is within 100 metres of our dock and is popular with novice divers since it is accessible from shore. Our one hour proximity to Ottawa permits our guests to make day trips to the capital but you will find many attractions in our immediate region to keep you occupied. Prescott has a championship 18 hole public golf course and we would be pleased to arrange your tee times. If tennis is your game, we are minutes from the Prescott Tennis Club. Upper Canada Village, 30 minutes to our east is another popular tourist destination.
Our signature breakfast complete with home baking and a variety of fresh fruit of the season is guaranteed to please. You are invited to enjoy another cup of coffee after breakfast on our deck overlooking the river as you watch the boats pass by.
