Presqu'ile Park's famous birdwatching (300 varieties are seen each year !), deer, boardwalk, hiking and cycling nature trails and fine sandy beaches are close by. Try boating from the marina at Lake Ontario's Brighton Bay via Murray Canal and Bay of Quinte to the Trent-Severn Waterway. Or explore Prince Edward County. Golf a new course all week. Go year-round fishing from charter boat, lake shore or river bank for Bass, Pike, Salmon, Trout and Walleye. Ice-fishing too ! From Brighton you can also canoe, cruise, kayak, sail, windsurf, cross-country ski, snowshoe, snowmobile and more. Nearby are Cobourg, Port Hope, and Trenton.
