The Tymparon Inn is a lovingly restored intimate 1865 heritage country inn located in the City of Kingston along the Rideau Heritage Route between Fort Henry and the start of the Rideau Canal, UNESCO World Heritage Sites.  Convenienly located 2km south of the 401 and 5km to Kingston's downtown waterfront / famous 1000 Islands Cruises, the Royal Military College, Queens University, museums, pubs, restaurants and unique shops. Among top 5% of Ontario's B&B's in "Best Places to Bed & Breakfast in Ontario" according to travel writer Janette Higgins.  Rated Excellent by 19 guests according to Trip Advisor and proud to have been ranked either Number 1, 2  or 3 in Kingston on Trip Advisor for the past 6 months.

Guests will sleep the night away on this suite's firm yet comfortable double bed with hypo-allergenic feather topper, 100% cotton linens and wake well rested, eager to explore Kingston's numerous historic sights and sounds and savor the delicious offerings at the area's multi-cultural restaurants. This suite's southern exposure overlooks the property's fragrant purple lilac grove that flowers in late May, as well as acres of treed and open fields. A spacious private bathroom with tub/shower is adjacent to this suite. Spa robes are provided for guests of this suite. $110 - $130 plus taxes (13% HST)
Pintail Suite,

Its rich Prussian blue and gold colors invite you to step back in time to the elegance and romanticism of the late 1800's when The Tymparon Inn was a stately family country home. Guests will sleep soundly through the night on this suite's firm yet comfortable queen bed with hypo-allergenic feather topper, 100% cotton linens and wake ache free and energized to climb Fort Henry Hill, stroll the grounds of the Kingston Mills Locks or ride the ferry to Wolfe Island and explore the sights. This suite's northern exposure overlooks acres of open fields and our perennial garden. During mid to late June guests will enjoy the sights and scents of light and dark pink peony roses. The suite features an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. $115 - $135 plus taxes (13% HST)

Its bright cadmium yellow and cranberry colors invite you to savor the sounds and sights of the birds and natural wildlife surrounding The Tymparon Inn. Guests will enjoy a restful night in this suite's firm yet comfortable queen bed with hypo-allergenic feather topper, 100% cotton linens and wake raring to take in some of Kingston's many museums. art galleries and festivals. This suite's southern exposure overlooks the property's fragrant purple lilac grove that flowers in late May, as well as acres of treed and open fields. This suite features an en-suite bathroom with spacious walk-in shower. $120 - $140 plus taxes (13% HST)

Since Kingston is located mid-way between Toronto and Montreal it is an ideal location for those wishing to take short "getaways". From downtown Kingston (5km): Take Ontario Street (becomes Highway 2 East) over the Harbour Bridge past the Royal Military College and Fort Henry to the stop light at the top of the hill. Turn left onto County Road 15. The Tymparon Inn is 4 Km away. We are the first driveway on your right after Innovation Drive (StarTek). From Toronto or Montreal or the United States via the Thousands Islands Bridge : Take Exit 623 off Highway 401 At top of exit rank, turn South toward Kingston onto County Road 15 (2 lane road). The Tymparon Inn will be on your left in 2Km. Our GPS Coordinates: N 44° 16.57' W 76° 26.47'

Cancellation Policy
As we are a small Inn, cancellations affect us greatly. If you find it necessary to cancel or modify your one guest room reservation, please call us at least 72 hours prior to noon on your scheduled check-in date. If you are not able to provide us a 72 hour notice the rate quoted on the reservation plus HST will be charged to your credit card provided. Please also note that shortening your stay is considered a cancellation. For guests reserving two or three of our three rooms, if you need to cancel your reservation please call us at least seven days prior to noon on your check-in date. If you are not able to provide us a seven day notice the rate quoted on the reservation plus HST will be charged to your credit card provided. Please also note that shortening your stay is considered a cancellation.
